Gatka

Vajra Mushti

Kalrai Payattu

Indian martial arts include Gatka, Vajra Mushti, and Kalri Payattu. Gatka was historically used as a martial art to defend religious beliefs. Gatka is based upon the movement called "Panthra". "Panthra" lacks the use of weaponry and assists in developing footwork to maintain balance when using weapons.
Panthra can be practiced with circular motions, simple forward, and backward motions, and other complex motions in order to be fluent with 18 different kinds of weapons.

Vajra Mushti concentrates on natural movements of the body, using flexibility, agility, and perception. Vajra Mushti uses the "natural force", following three categories: animal, vegetable, and mineral. By following the three categories, this martial art has become highly sophisticated and uninfluenced by other martial arts.

Kalri Payattu is and Indian temple martial art that uses the mix of physical, mental, and spiritual exercises. This allows the martial artist to use his natural instincts that might be considered "dormant [bringing] him to a higher level".
