Congratulations from Dr. Yukitaka Yamamoto

Dr. Delmer Brown has been a well known and a highly regarded scholar in Japan and I must say that we are very lucky and honored to be able to work closely with him for many years. Since 1990, at Starr King School of Ministry at Berkeley, Dr. Brown has been teaching Shinto to students and scholars who interested in Shinto and we are very fortunate to support this successful lectureship. In 1995, Dr. Brown became a board member of Tsubaki Shrine of America. He has given us valuable and important suggestions concerning Tsubaki America's future and about methods of introducing Shinto academically in America. I am very sure readers share with me heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Brown.
