This site has been updated for fall 2007: I have updated and organized resources related to my research into Web 2.0 technologies, best practices for teaching in the online environment and online course design & development, as well as resources for students in my courses. I am always happy to discuss my research interests and share resources with anyone that contacts me.
Beginning Spring 2008, the communication design department will offer an upper division 3-unit elective course focusing on social computing. CDES 319, “New Telecom Technologies,” will explore Web 2.0 technologies such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, and Second Life.
