A summary report (2 to 3 pages typed and double spaced) is required for each material family and will include a brief explanation of each of the material section, test procedures, results, and conclusions. The 5 polymer families are:

Describe your polymer material in terms of material, processing, and design elements. Be sure to include information from the lectures, the book, and the lab. In particular, important items are polymer chemistry, mechanical and physical properties, typical processing parameters and equipment, experimental results from the lab, typical products made from the resin, and special characteristics or concerns with the material.
