Quality of Life
A community asset that supports acedemic and community education, supports local food producers, and provides fresh vegetables for campus food services. Its management will exemplify innovative, environmentally-sound vegetable management methods. It will integrate with the management of other programs on the University Farm but will be self-sustaining with regard to its finacial budget.

- Trials and evaluation of diverse vegetable varieties
- Productive, high quality crops for market
- Educational programs and experience for grade schools, university and community
- Collaboration with community programs, agencies and schools
- Sales of produce that return enough revenue to fully support and enhance the program
- Continued training for participants
- Cooperative management support amoung faculty, staff, students, and community members
