DESCRIPTION:
- Chironomides
are found in most types of water bodies including intertidal rock pools
and coral reefs
- Moist soils,
phytotelmata, and dung
- Streams,
rivers, lakes, ponds
- Larvae
are found in rock, gravel, finer sediments, sand and silt

- Northern
