BEHAVIOR:
EMERGENCE:

Metamorphosis is minimal, one external change between a newly emergant
and an adult takes place

A progressive concentration of pigmentation occurs along with a continuous
increase in differentiation of segmental appendages

3-12 moults take place until they reach maturity but moulting continues
to occur throughout their life
