Emma

Emma is the newest addition to the household. She's a munchkin cat. You can tell from the photos that her breed is characterized by very short little legs. She's a beautiful little animal, and has quite a personality. When she's hungry, she can meow as loudly and passionately as Pavarotti, and can hold the note for nearly as long, too.

Flopped, as usual, and begging to be amused. Her bare belly is the result of her recent spaying.

Her markings are "torbie"--a combination of tabby and tortoiseshell.

This shot shows off her stubby little legs. One interesting side effect of her short stature is that she often "prairie dogs" us, balancing on her hind legs and peering at things on top of the bed, couch, or table.

Another good shot of her little legs. Her body length is the same as most cats, as is her tail--which actually seems to be much longer. It's always brushing against noses as she tries to settle on laps.
