Sacramento Sucker Results
No mature suckers have been captured at the two upper sites since treatment. A few juveniles were found most years indicating presence of a few adults in the area. In 1995, 1996, and 1998 a few sub-adults were collected at Ponderosa Way. No suckers were collected at the two upper sites in 1997 although a small group of sub-adults were observed just upstream of the Ponderosa Way site. It seems probable that suckers grow very slowly in these relatively cold, small-stream habitats.
