Daisy moved to Chico in the fall of 2019 from Baldwin Park, a town in southern California. While attending Chico State, she was an intern for Academic Advising and participated in the Adelante research program where she had the opportunity to focus her work on the Latinx population within the meat packing industry. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology in the spring of 2021 and received the 2021 Anthropology Outstanding Student as well as the BSS Outstanding Student of the Year award. Daisy is now a part of the professional staff for Academic Advising and serves as the Undeclared advisor where she provides guidance for students who need help navigating career options and campus resources. In her free time, she is an avid roller skater and is usually at the skate park.
