Advising Intern
Tyrek is a first-generation college student majoring in Construction Management. As an Equity Intern, Tyrek has been supporting Chico State's undergraduate population in navigating general education through course planning, time management, and registration workshops. Tyrek knows from personal experience how difficult the transition from home to a university environment can be and hopes to spread his knowledge and encouragement towards students like himself. Tyrek is from Inglewood, CA, where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, going out to eat with friends and listening to music.
