The two main apparel items used by campus units are business casual polo shirts and casual t-shirts.

Embroidered Polo Shirts

Embroidered polo shirts are a mainstay when professional-looking apparel is needed to represent colleges, departments, and programs when attending conferences, events, or other functions.

  • Port Authority EZCotton® Polo K8000 and LK8000 are the recommended shirt blanks for general use.
  • Port Authority hoodie and jacket selections may also be embroidered.

Ordering Polos

Embroidered polo shirts are usually purchased from Printing Services. Contact the Procurement Professional for your division to order other wearables or for other vendors.

Approved T-shirt Colors

As seen above, the official University colors are Chico Red (PMS 201), Cornerstone Gray (PMS Cool Gray 9), black, and white. Recommended shirt blanks are available in these approved University colors.

  • Shirt colors other than approved University colors are only allowed if they coincide with a specific event, such as National Pink Shirt Day.
  • Bella+Canvas® T-shirt blanks offer a range of acceptable colors and are available from most screen print vendors. Work with your Procurement Professional to order unit T-shirts.
  • T-shirt variations such as women's fit, V-neck, and long sleeve are also acceptable.
