California State University, Chico
Branded Chico State Gear at Swag Swap

Branded Products

All promotional items and products bearing the University’s name, logo, logomarks, mascot, slogans or other trademarks, whether for commercial (e.g., resold for a fundraiser), promotional (e.g., given away), or internal use, require advance approval from University Communications and must follow Chico State brand standards.

Licensing for Retailers

Chico State partners with CLC to positively promote the University's brand, protect its trademark rights, and generate royalty revenue. Companies that desire to produce licensed products for resale to the general public should apply for a retail license at applications@clc.com.

Review CLC's quick reference guide.

Brand Manager 360

Once a license has been acquired, CLC will supply the licensee with a username and password to access the Brand Manager 360 platform. Licensees are required to submit all designs bearing University trademarks to University Communications (UCOMM) at ucomm@csuchico.edu for review and approval prior to production, as well as report monthly sales and royalties.
