Logo Variations

The University's visual identity architecture is a systematic structure applied across all colleges, departments, and programs. The primary institutional logomark is included with the specific secondary identity (unit) either to the right (in the primary layout) or underneath (in the stacked layout).

The system provides flexibility to accommodate custom applications and diverse uses while ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization.


Please note that tertiary, co-branded and Athletics logo variations are only available by request from University Communications via email at ucomm@csuchico.edu. 

Secondary Lockup

  Secondary Lockup with Primary Institution Name above the Secondary Program (Unit)

Tertiary Lockup

  Tertiary Lockup is similar to Secondary, but with the Tertiary Program name underneath

Co-branded Lockup

  Co-Branded Lockup has the collaborating programs to the right of the Institution name

Secondary Athletics Lockup

Secondary Athletics Lockup has the Primary Athletics Wordmark above the Secondary Athletics Program 

Select the first letter of the name of your college, department, or program's logos to download it from the Box app. Use the search bar within Box to search for your unit’s name; make sure the folder name you are searching within is selected (not the option of “Everywhere”).

    Suggested Use: Print (flyers, brochures, etc.)

  • PNG

    Format: Raster (cannot be enlarged without image degradation)
    Color Mode: RGB; transparent background
    Resolution: 150 dpi
    Dimensions: 12 in / 1200+ px on the longest side
    Suggested Use: Screen (PowerPoint presentation, social media posts, etc.)

  • SVG

    Format: Vector (can be scaled to any size without image degradation with appropriate software)

Chico State logo lockups, wordmarks, and logomarks are available for download from the Box app by campus users. You may also download your unit logo, graphic elements, and design templates. Download and send this PDF to outside vendors when necessary.
