Educause 2024 Poster Session Presentation
Chico State is proud to be part of a groundbreaking multi-institutional study on artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education. This collaborative effort, led by San Diego State University, has gathered insights from over 18,000 students. The attached poster presented at the 2024 Educause conference in San Antonio, TX, showcases key findings from this comprehensive AI Student survey, highlighting students' perceptions, usage, and expectations of AI in their academic journey. As one of the six California State University campuses featured in this study, Chico State's participation underscores our commitment to understanding and addressing the impact of AI on our students' learning experiences. The survey results reveal important insights into AI adoption, its effects on learning, and the need for increased AI literacy and integration in our curriculum.
