Get in-depth support to learn how to use software such as Canvas, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. We have the time and the patience to help you.
Don't have the money for equipment needed for a class? We've got you covered! Borrow a device for use short term (laptops) or for an entire semester (calculators, webcams, headsets, wifi hot spots).
The center coordinates interesting workshops every semester that are free for students and staff. Topics of previous workshops include Photoshop, Outlook email, MS Teams, and more.

What is Office 365?
Office 365 is a suite of applications designed by Microsoft to help with productivity and completing common tasks on a computer. You can create and edit documents containing text and images, work with data in spreadsheets and databases, and create presentations and posters.

What is Adobe Creative Cloud?
Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX, and more. Now you can take your ideas to new places with Photoshop on the iPad, draw and paint with Adobe Fresco, and design for 3D and AR.
All Chico State Students have access to Adobe Creative Cloud for free which can help enhance your educational experience while at Chico.
What is Adobe Stock?
Adobe Stock is now available as part of the campus Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Adobe Stock is a collection of high-quality images, graphics, vectors, and videos. All current campus Creative Cloud users now have access to Adobe Stock. Employees and students that don't currently have Creative Cloud can request access.
How to request access
Request a license by submitting a ticket to ITSS and then you can sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud applications with your Chico State credentials.
What is Kaltura?
Kaltura is a media tool that allows students to record, share and upload media to Canvas. To access Kaltura from Canvas, click on MyMedia located on the global navigation bar on the right side,
Once you click on the MyMedia page, you will see an “Add New” button. This button will give you an option of tools that you are able to use.

Assistive Reading Software
Kurzweil 3000 is software that helps people with reading or learning difficulties increase their reading speed and comprehension. Kurzweil 3000 can read virtually any scanned document or electronic file on your computer or the Internet, using high-quality synthetic speech. Plus, with Kurzweil 3000, words are highlighted in a contrasting color to the reading unit making tracking easier.
