October 7, 2025 - Let’s Celebrate Chico State Together at Wildcat Weekend!

Dear Campus Community, 

There’s nothing like Wildcat Weekend to show off the spirit and energy of Chico State! I hope you’ll join me October 9–11 as we celebrate everything that makes our campus so special. 

From live music and the arts to athletics and community celebrations, there’s something for everyone. I’ve highlighted a few events below and encourage you to take a look at the full schedule. 

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9: 

  • Instagram-Worthy Reveal: Something new—and seriously photo-worthy—is coming to campus. Join me, Willie, the Chico State Pep Band, and fellow Wildcats for a celebration as we reveal a fun addition at 1:15 p.m. at the corner of Ivy and West Second Streets, right outside the Student Services Center. 
  • Wildcat Weekend Kickoff: Enjoy an unforgettable evening at the Meriam Park Barn with live entertainment from two bands, small bites from Roots Catering, and Shubert’s ice cream. 

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10: 

  • Reggie Watts at Laxson Auditorium: Known for his brilliant blend of music and comedy on The Late Late Show, Reggie Watts brings his unique performance style to Chico. Come early for the Party on the Patio with food trucks, drinks, and live music. 
  • Downtown Chico Art & Wine Walk: Start your stroll at the Janet Turner Print Museum pouring station and enjoy an evening of art, wine, and community. 

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11: 

I also want to take a minute to thank everyone who is making this weekend possible. Wildcat Weekend showcases the very best of Chico State. Whether it’s part of your regular roles, you will be volunteering your time this weekend, or you are simply showing up to take part in the fun, this exciting three-day event truly takes a campus effort. I can’t wait to see you there.
