Meet with an Advisor

Schedule an in-person meeting, or drop-in the Student Success office inside Plumas 111 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Mandatory Advising for Ag Majors

All students in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Agricultural Science, and Plant and Soil Science are required to meet with an advisor before fall registration begins.

  • 1. Meet with the Student Success and Retention Office

    To get help planning your schedule or understanding requirements, visit the SSRO office or Book an Appointment.

  • 2. Meet with Your Faculty Advisor

    In early October, your faculty advisor will send an email with details about how to schedule your advising appointment.

    If you are an animal science student, you will be assigned an SSRO advisor for your first two years.

  • 3. Be Ready to Register

    Log in to your Student Center to view your registration date and time. View the Class Schedule to browse course availability and times.

Check Your Student Email

The Success Team will guide you through the mandatory advising process. It is important to check your student email and Student Center regularly to ensure you are informed on your upcoming steps.
