Event Highlights

McGowan Sales Invitational
The McGowan Sales Invitational is a local Chico State sales competition that takes place during the fall semester. The event takes place over two days and includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, networking events, individual & team role play, presentations, and pictures.
SSP Career Fair
SSP Career Fairs bring top employers and corporate sponsors to campus, giving students a direct path to internships and job offers. It’s a high-impact networking event where Wildcats gain face time with recruiters and learn what it takes to succeed in sales.

In Spring 2025, Chico State students had the unique opportunity to learn from founder Chuck Seufferlein and his son Luke during a special Real Estate in Sales Workshop. Their engaging talk offered practical strategies, personal insights, and the kind of hard-earned advice that inspires future success.
Chico State Sales Invitational
Never competed in a sales role-play before? No problem. CSSI is a Hawaiian-themed, two-day event designed for students of all grade levels to gain experience, develop their sales skills and compete in a fun, supportive environment. There will be Hawaiian outfits, a career fair, prize money and more!
