Seufferlein Sales Program

Our 21-unit Professional Sales Certificate is an award-winning, USCA-accredited program that prepares students for dynamic careers in sales.

The sales certificate is a great way to differentiate yourself in today’s competitive job market. The hands-on courses provide students with the sales training required by today's leading organizations.

Though open to all students, the certificate is specifically designed for marketing majors and minors. The certificate is comprised of one foundation course, five required core courses, and one elective course. If you'd like to learn more, fill out our Request Info Form.

How To Succeed in Sales

In How to Succeed in Sales, the Seufferlein Sales Program had the honor of having Chico State president Steve Perez experience firsthand what makes our program one of the best in the nation. The video walks through the fundamentals of sales education, the structure of our competitive events, and the hands-on learning that prepares Chico State students to excel in their careers.

    The 2025 Chico State Sales Invitational (CSSI) was a resounding success, bringing together 100 students of all experience levels to compete for a $10,000 prize pool in a Hawaiian-themed event.
