Our faculty have wide-ranging backgrounds and experiences, some have years of industry experience while others have internationally recognized research. They are all dedicated to teaching, learning, and mentoring. In our college, we have outstanding students. They come to Chico State from all over California and the world. Our small class sizes foster collaborations between faculty and students that provide research and learning opportunities not available at most larger universities and commuter schools.
Our faculty prepare students to be leaders in engineering, computer science, and construction and concrete management through hands-on, project-based learning experiences. Over 80% of our students have career jobs when they graduate and the average starting salary for our graduates is $88,000, far above the University average.
