How to apply for Recording Arts for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

The Recording Arts option is an “impacted” area of study. Impaction means that there are more qualified applicants than we typically have classroom space to accommodate. As such, a supplemental application and criteria is required for full status admission to the option in Recording Arts.

Each application is ranked against the following criteria:

  • Overall GPA
  • In-major GPA
  • Grades in pre-requisite courses
  • Video
    • Extra ranking points available (see below)
