    Study Abroad

Sage Young, MA in History, participated in the study abroad program in Ireland in Spring 2025. Her program was funded in part by the SARC award, allowing her to research Irish poets and their muses leading up to the Irish Civil War. Sage's experience in Ireland led to a restructuring of her academic goals, pivoting her research to focus on the untapped information of the influential women of this period.

Being able to see the history in which these women lived their lives so authentically has been so beautiful and has influenced my Master's thesis.
