Chico Math Project

The Chico Math Project is one of 19 sites of the California Mathematics Project. The California Mathematics Project is under the umbrella of the California Subject Matter Projects. Our mission is to provide a rich and supportive environment for teachers to deepen their understanding of the Math they teach and to enhance their repertoire of effective instructional strategies, for the improvement of all students' learning.

Upcoming Programs

Fractions with Friends Summer Workshop

This workshop is for Grade 3-8 teachers, however all grade teachers are accepted. Interested applicants can pick from either session.

Dates

  • Session 1: July 28th 12-5 p.m., July 29th 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and July 30th 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Session 2: Aug. 3rd 12-5 p.m., Aug 4th 9a.m.-12 p.m. and Aug. 5th 9 a.m.-12p.m.

Hands-On Math Lab

The Hands-on Math Lab hosts Grades 1-5 classrooms for field trips on Friday mornings in the beautiful new Science Building on the Chico State campus. Please email Kat McKinney to get on the interest list.
