The Science Education Department is committed to providing the North State with the highest quality science education for all learners, programs for teacher subject matter preparation and professional development, and research on teaching and learning to promote scientific appreciation and understanding.
Natural Sciences, Option in Science Education BS
Designed to inspire curiosity, our program equips you to work in museums, nature centers, state parks, and national forests, and is also ideal for future middle school or introductory high school science teachers who want to help shape the next generation of learners and make a positive impact.
