Student-Faculty Research Collaborative

Explore, discover, and be inspired through research and creative activities while being mentored by faculty invested in your success. The Student-Faculty Research Collaborative helps you get started with both undergraduate and graduate research, walking you through the process and opportunities available.

Spend Summer in the Lab

Put your summer job to work for you with paid, on-campus research. Our Chemistry and Physics Summer Research Institutes support provide 10-week paid stipends to dozens of students each year, while the Chico STEM Connections Collaborative offers immersive experiences in agriculture, engineering, and the natural sciences.

Earn Funding

Undergraduate and graduate students can earn money to complete original research activities while working under the guidance of faculty or staff advisors. Student Awards for Research and Creativity recipients can use the funds for conference or research travel or materials and supplies as approved.

Our Chemistry Summer Research Institute offers a stipend to work side-by-side with faculty on cutting-edge cross-disciplinary projects in all the major divisions of chemistry and beyond. Faculty can also support you in applying to research opportunities across the United States.
