Seize the opportunity for an exciting and well-paying career in the evolving field of manufacturing. Master the use of robotics and automation to make production faster and more efficient. Learn how to use inventory management software to help companies track items through a warehouse or design robots to reduce costs on the production line.

This program teaches our graduates the technical, organizational, and leadership skills they need to solve problems and meet manufacturing challenges. Our hands-on learning approach means you get real-world experience working with robots and machines in our cutting-edge lab spaces, giving you an edge when you graduate.

Engineered for the Future

Our curriculum uses hands-on technology, laboratories, business, and management methods to teach you about manufacturing, materials science, and robotics. You will also take technical electives taught by faculty who are subject matter experts.

Strong Alumni and Industry Network

Our program has a nearly 100% job placement rate—most of our students graduate from Chico State with a job offer. There are countless career opportunities in manufacturing, at both big and small companies. You can work in research, management, or production.

Some of the places our alumni work include:

  • Pacific Gas and Electric
  • Medtronic
  • KLA Corporation
  • Benchmark Electronics
