X-rays, MRIs, sonograms, organ transplants and replacements have changed the medical world forever. With a minor in biomedical engineering, you become part of this exciting field, which brings all sciences together to research and develop solutions that support the future of health care and help save lives.
Our program gives you a solid foundation in biomedical engineering principles and technologies, blending theory and lab work in a close-knit environment. With access to passionate faculty, cutting-edge facilities, and industry-standard technology, you’ll gain a solid foundation to pursue a career in biomedical research or graduate studies in the field.
With courses in human anatomy, analytical geometry and calculus, and electronics for scientists, you’ll develop broad bioinstrumentation skills and learn biomedical imaging techniques.
In our program, you’ll gain the lab and project management experience needed to develop medical technologies that improve lives. You’ll work closely with experienced faculty on research, collaborate with peers on group projects, and lead your own research.
