Use your love of film to become an expert in the literary, philosophical, aesthetic, and artistic approaches to cinema. You’ll develop those skills as you learn to critique the best of domestic and international films and filmmaking.

Along the way, you’ll obtain important insights into world cultures that will help you succeed in whatever career you choose. Grow your knowledge of the cinematic arts, from the technical aspects of filmmaking to the uses and power of storytelling. As visual literacy skills grow in value in our increasingly screen-dominated world, your knowledge of the cinematic arts—from the technical aspects to the storytelling possibilities—will enhance your skillset in whatever vocation you pursue.

Any career will benefit from these skills, though work in the media or in creative and cultural industries is an especially exciting fit.
