Few forces have impacted our daily lives more than religion. It’s in our politics and our discussions about gender and sexuality. It’s impacted our health care and educational policies.
The comparative religion minor is designed to help you trace the impacts various religious and non-religious perspectives have had on societies throughout history, all the way up to present day. Meanwhile, you’ll gain valuable skills in areas such as critical thinking, communications, and research applicable to any field you’re interested in pursuing.
Set yourself up to thrive as a citizen of an increasingly pluralistic society by taking classes that provide you with a foundational understanding of the world’s religions and the cultures they’ve influenced.
Your understanding of the world’s religions and their influence, as well as the critical thinking, communication, and research skills you glean, will enhance your abilities in almost any career path, including law, teaching, politics, international relations, diversity work, and more.
