Learn to captivate readers from the first sentence. As a creative writing minor, you’ll study three genres: poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. You’ll also explore a rich variety of literature, not just to analyze it, but to gain inspiration and techniques for your own writing.

You’ll be part of an intimate and supportive community of fellow writers, where you’ll receive personalized feedback to help you grow and thrive. Whether you dream of becoming a bestselling author, writing for top publications, or inspiring future generations as an educator, the skills you develop in our program are adaptable to countless career paths.

Hone Your Craft, Build Your Skills

You'll understand the power of the perfect turn of phrase to create vivid imagery and atmosphere in your work. Combined with practical experience in submitting, revising, editing, and publishing manuscripts, this knowledge will help you successfully write the next chapter of your life.
