A Rigorous Science-Based Curriculum

With courses ranging from “General Chemistry” to “Introduction to Wines”, you will explore the chemical, physical, and sensory properties of food as well as how ingredients work together, how to buy and store food, and how to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Gain the research, math, and communication skills you need for long-term success. You will graduate ready to pursue a graduate degree, manage food safety for a government agency, develop new food products, or research ways to improve crops. Our alumni work at places like Sierra Nevada Brewery, Lundberg Family Farms, Land-o-Lakes, and Mary's Gone Crackers.
