You’ll develop cross-cultural communication skills, uncover the complexities of unequal regional development, and foster global citizenship by understanding the world’s cultures and languages.
Expand your perspective and engage with the world through the Global Studies GE minor. This general education (GE) minor fits seamlessly into your college experience, allowing you to count GE courses toward both your GE requirements and the minor. Students are encouraged to study abroad, with up to nine study abroad units applicable toward the minor, providing hands-on learning and real-world experience.
Courses examine global challenges and connections, including international relations, cultural diversity, environmental issues, and economic systems. You can brush up your language skills by choosing classes in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, or Spanish.
