If you are serious about a career in the performing arts, this is the place for you. Here, you can focus your studies on musical theatre performance—acting, singing, and dancing— while growing artistically and intellectually.

You’ll master the skills of collaboration, creativity, and confidence in the CSU’s only Musical Theatre BFA program north of Los Angeles. Whether your future includes professional theatre venues, touring companies, cruise ships, summer stock, or amusement parks, you’ll be prepared by our student-centered, experiential program. Thanks to seven semesters of private voice lessons and eight semesters of dance courses, you’ll see improvements in your abilities year after year.
Real-World Practices
Audition for four mainstage theatrical productions per year, produced in three different theaters—including the immaculate, 1,200-seat, Laxson Auditorium.
Enjoy Experimenting
Find your niche and some great friends in the Theatre Arts Club, which prides itself on student-produced shows and festivals.
Finish with a Flourish
Travel to New York City your senior year and participate in a series of industry workshops and a senior showcase.
