Registration is Open!

We are delighted to formally invite admitted fall 2022 students to attend Choose Chico, the exclusive two-part event where you will discover everything that makes Chico State a special place. Applicants who have been offered admission to Chico State should check their email for a personalized invitation and registration link. (How to check your admission status.)

Virtual Choose Chico in Spanish: Friday, April 1, from 5–7 p.m. is the interactive pre-event in Spanish allowing you and your family to learn and ask questions about admissions, financial aid and scholarships, and housing before you come to Choose Chico on campus. 

Virtual Choose Chico in English: Saturday, April 2, from 9:45 a.m.–noon is the interactive pre-event allowing you and your family to learn and ask questions about admissions, financial aid and scholarships, and housing before you come to Choose Chico on campus.

On-Campus Choose Chico: Saturday, April 9, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. provides you, your families, and those supporting your journey to Chico State the opportunity to learn more about our superb academics, wonderful student life and organizations, and how we'll help make your college experience affordable.

In-person Event Check-in and Schedule

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Meet us in the South plaza of the Bell Memorial Union or on the South side of the Meriam Library by the red umbrellas to check in. Plan your day by viewing the schedule of events for the in-person event on Saturday, April 9 (PDF).

Where to Park

Parking on campus is free on Saturdays and does not require a permit, so you are welcome to park in any of our campus parking lots. Alternate parking includes street and/or free metered parking around the perimeter of campus in the downtown area.
