What kind of life do you want after high school? We’ve got the resources to help you figure it out.

Community College Students
Through direct partnerships, Chico State offers guaranteed admission to eligible students from seven community colleges.

International Students
Chico State has guaranteed transfer agreements specific to international students (F-1 Visa holders) with a number of community colleges.

High School Students

Whether you’re a high schooler thinking about Chico State in the future or considering going to a two-year school next year before transferring, these programs make becoming a Wildcat simple.

College Guidance
We’re partnered with the California College Guidance Initiative to provide high school students (and counselors) the information and tools needed to support college, career, and financial aid planning and applications.
Transfer Success Pathway
Are you enrolling in one of California’s 116 community colleges this fall? You could be eligible for dual admission to Chico State! No matter what prevented you from attending Chico State immediately after high school, if you're enrolling at a community college instead, this program will help you transfer for your bachelor’s degree.

Community college students from one of our transfer guarantee schools have guaranteed admission for eligible students—including international students (F or J visa holders). If you complete the requirements to attend Chico State, you’re in!

Wildcat Guarantee Partner Schools

The following schools have a direct partnership with Chico State and provide guaranteed admission for all students who meet the transfer eligibility requirements. The partnerships also provide access to special programs and services to make the transfer process even easier.

Student Benefits

Access to a Chico State Transfer Advisor: Meet with our advising staff at the Transfer Center once per month during fall and spring semesters.
Guaranteed Admission: Your spot at Chico State is guaranteed upon becoming eligible through standard CSU admission criteria.
On the Spot Admissions (OTSA) at Chico State: Visit campus during an OTSA in the fall or spring after applying to receive an admission decision and meet your major advisor.
Reverse Transfer: Should a student transfer to Chico State prior to completion of an associate's degree, Chico State will provide free electronic transcripts back to the community college to be applied toward graduation requirements wherever possible.
