“Together, we will reframe the conversation about women in philanthropy and leadership. We will share ideas, build support, create new networks, and use our power for a greater impact on student success at Chico State—especially for our women students and alumnae. Through our collective power and influence, we can help and celebrate Chico State women worldwide, and provide opportunities for them to grow and strive further toward their potential.”

– Retired President, Gayle Hutchinson

VISION

At California State University, Chico, women have always been and continue to be a catalyst for change and empowerment. Our alumnae have transformed their communities, businesses, and lives. The Chico State Women’s Philanthropy Council will engage these women leaders to help transform the University through philanthropy and impactful programs. They will model and accelerate engagement and giving among the University’s alumni, donors, and friends. We celebrate these influential women and their vision to build awareness and support for other women.

WHO ARE WE?

The Chico State Women’s Philanthropy Council is a special philanthropic collective dedicated to the study, support, encouragement, and advocacy of women students, faculty, and programs. Members are alumnae and friends who enjoy networking opportunities, working alongside campus leadership, and building support for Chico State. The membership is a minimum gift of $1,500 with a three-year commitment. We typically have 4-5 meetings within the academic year.
