Personal Information
Dr. Jacob Brimlow is a Chico State graduate, having obtained his BA in economics here in 1998. He went on to earn both his MA in economics and PhD in environmental and resource economics at North Carolina State University. Brimlow’s research interests focus on increasing the profitability and resiliency of farms and food businesses through local food system development. He grew up in Humboldt County, surrounded by the timber industry and Northern California agriculture.
