Personal Information
Ben Duran joined the faculty as an assistant professor in the Animal Science program in the Fall of 2024. Duran earned his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2016 and his master’s degree in Animal Science: Reproductive Physiology in 2018 from Iowa State University. He pursued his PhD at The Ohio State University in Reproductive Physiology and received his doctoral degree in 2024. His graduate work at tOSU was focused on developing an induced pregnancy loss model to investigate a miscommunication between the conceptus and dam during the second month of gestation in cattle.
