College of Agriculture to Host Career and Internship Fair This Fall

After 17 years hosting the College of Agriculture Career and Internship, the 18th annual event on Tuesday, Oct. 22 will mark the first held during the fall semester. This event helps employers to build brand awareness of their organization while allowing students to explore the possibilities of an internship or full-time employment in the agricultural field. The fair promotes hands-on learning for students and alumni known for their experience, dedication, hard work and proven leadership in the field of agriculture.

Scheduled to take place on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the University Farm Pavilion, this event is a great opportunity to network with over thirty leading companies in the agriculture industry at the local, state and national level. Companies in attendance will include: Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, Vino Farms LLC, AgReliant Genetics, American AgCredit, California Department of Pesticide Regulation, CoBank, LandCare, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and more.

Students and alumni from all majors are invited to attend. Those who attend are advised to dress professionally and bring a resume. Prior registration is not required of job seekers.
