Scholarship Opportunities

The College of Agriculture Recruitment Scholarship Application is available each fall for the following academic year. These scholarships are contingent upon admission into CSU, Chico, and require a declared major in one of the student programs offered by the College of Agriculture, enrollment each semester as a full time student carrying a minimum of two courses offered through the College of Agriculture, and maintenance of a 3.0 GPA in university course work. The recruitment scholarship application deadline is January 15, 2021. 

How to Apply:

Within the recruitment scholarship pool is the Bell Family Presidential Scholarship. Bell Family Presidential Scholars are selected from the College of Agriculture Recruitment Scholarship applicant pool based on academic achievement, commitment to agriculture, leadership and civic engagement. Recipients receive full coverage of tuition and student fees for four years.

To apply for the Bell Family Presidential Scholarship, students must first complete the College of Agriculture Recruitment Scholarship Application. Applicants who meet the academic eligibility for the Bell Family Presidential Scholarship are required to have a high school GPA of 3.5+ and either a 1200 total SAT I Reasoning Test Score (includes verbal plus mathematics) or a score of 27 on the ACT, will be invited to submit an essay for further consideration. FOR FALL 2021, SAT/ACT SCORE REQUIREMENT WAIVED. Applicants must be a declared undergraduate major in the College of agriculture, first time freshman, and current California residents. 

Private Scholarships are offered by organizations, corporations and individuals outside the College of Agriculture. Although they are not administered by the University, many of these donors list their scholarship opportunities with the Student Success Office.
