Panelists: Tomoko Ha, (History and International Relations, ‘04), MBA; Elnora Tena Webb, PhD

Tomoko Ha is a licensed financial professional who graduated from Chico State with a bachelor's degree in history and international relations in 2004 and completed her MBA from John F. Kennedy University specializing in strategic management. Tomoko is a certified career coach, financial professional and founder of a consulting firm TKO Consulting. Throughout her career she has helped thousands of people across the country  reach their education, career, and financial goals. Tomoko also has more than 20 years of experience in various leadership roles helping communities thrive. She served as a college administrator at Laney College in Oakland, California. some of the roles include Director of Student Activities and Campus Life and Director of Asian Pacific American Student Success program that is part of the White House initiative for Asian American Pacific Islanders. She currently works as a career consultant and helps students and alumni with support services that help them reach their professional goals; including one-on-one career or group facilitation, cover letter and resume support, and online presence with social media, especially LinkedIn.

Elnora Tena Webb, PhD is a licensed financial professional and strategist focused on: 

• • (a) inspiring individuals, families, and businesses to plan for financial success;
  • (b) equipping them with the tools to achieve their financial goals; and
  • (c) helping them leverage their plans to build intergenerational wealth.

Retired in 2017 following service as a student affairs officer, director, manager, researcher, a Dean of Humanities, Language Arts, and Social Sciences, an academic vice president, a Laney College President, and an Executive Vice Chancellor, Dr. Webb was tapped to expand her reach to coach executives and to provide strategic planning and executive search services to nonprofit and profit organizations via her firm Signature Solutions Corporate Results. Dr. Webb leverages 40-years of professional experience supporting over 100,000 individuals within ALL systems of higher education in CA - University of CA at Riverside and Berkeley, Sonoma State University, Stanford University, Contra Costa Community College District, and Peralta Community College District - and in support of several Silicon Valley companies.
