We are excited to support Team Tangible at the XPRIZE competition, made up of Chico State mechatronic engineering professor Jeremy Fishel and alumni Will Cortez ('16) and Jacob Grout ('22). Team Tangible is among the 17 finalists from 10 countries all coming to a head at THE BIGGEST showcase of robotic avatars ever. We can’t wait to see the avatars that they bring to the finals to test in front of our live audience and judges. Chico State Hospitality Suite

Saturday, November 5, 2 – 4 p.m. | Shoreline Room at Hyatt Regency Long Beach

Join fellow Wildcats for a free reception from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, Shoreline Room. We hope you'll attend for a chance to celebrate Team Tangible with President Gayle Hutchinson, Dean Blake Wentz, and current Chico State students and faculty from the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management.

What to expect

Watch teams complete a series of complex tasks across a custom-built test course. Spectators will be treated to arena-style viewing as well as a live-hosted broadcast. Tickets are free for both the XPRIZE finals testing and the Chico State hospitality suite, but RSVP is required.
