On November 15, President Perez sent an email highlighting our progress on three major University-wide initiatives—including employee engagement toward making Chico State an even better place to work. Now, we're looking for faculty and staff to contribute their time and talents to make a meaningful impact.
First, please review the Building a Thriving Workplace at Chico State: Our Employee Engagement Journey module. It contains everything you need to know.
Next, consider the following steps to get involved. Note - the deadline to apply for a University-level group is this Friday, December 6!
University-level: We are looking for individuals from Academic Affairs, Business and Finance, Information Technology, President's Office, Student Affairs, and University Advancement to analyze University-level data and develop an action plan to enhance the University-wide culture. Participants are invited to focus in the areas of: Confidence in Senior Leadership, Mission and Pride, Onboarding Processes, Performance Management, and Supervisor/Chair Effectiveness.
*After reviewing the section on Get Involved to Make a Difference in the module, please submit your interest form by Friday, December 6, 2024. *
Division-level: If you are interested in making a difference at the division level, please contact your Division representative for more information. For engagement opportunities with Associated Students or Chico State Enterprises, please reach out to your supervisor, as these areas manage their engagement independently.
