The Meriam Library at California State University (CSU), Chico is seeking a Librarian for the College of Engineering and Library Makerspace (Senior Assistant Librarian Rank). California State University, Chico is a comprehensive and residential public university, holding Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) designation. Chico State operates as part of the 23-campus CSU system, which educates the most ethnically, economically, and academically diverse student body in the nation. The University enrolls over 14,000 students, with over half identifying as first-generation college students. The Engineering and Library Makerspace Librarian will focus on the research needs of the diverse College of Engineering, encompassing Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, and Mechatronic Engineering as well as Robotics, Computer Science, Construction Management, Concrete Management, and Computer Information Systems. The College has three graduate programs and one of four Concrete Industry Management programs in the country. This position will also be an integral part of the Meriam Library Makerspace, housed in the Innovation Lab in the library, working to engage and support faculty and students' use of the tools.
