All current Chico State students have access to 24-hour 7 day a week health care through TimelyCare! TimelyCare provides virtual health care services no matter where you are in the U.S. or what time it is. YES! This includes after hours when the WellCat Health Center is closed, during holiday breaks, weekends, summer breaks, and when you travel in the U.S. What services does TimelyCare provide? Meet with a licensed physician or nurse practitioner who has the ability to treat a wide variety of medical conditions through telehealth Scheduled and on-demand health care visits (students are usually seen within 15 minutes) Health Coaching for nutrition, meal planning, weight management, or sleeping habits Educational resources via their website or app. Below are some examples of common appointment reasons: Cold symptoms Flu symptoms Sore throats Rashes/dermatology Bladder infections (UTI) Vaginal yeast infections How can I access TimelyCare? TimelyCare can be accessed at timelycare.com/chico or you can download the TimelyCare app! TimelyCare is confidential, secure, and HIPAA compliant. How much does it cost to use TimelyCare? TimelyCare is included in your student health fee, there is unlimited access to TimelyCare as long as your student health fee is paid.
