Looking for an exciting and meaningful job opportunity this summer?Upward Bound is now hiring Task Team Supervisors for the 2025 Summer Program! Applications are open on Handshake and close on January 31st, 2025.As a Task Team Supervisor, you'll mentor high school students and help them develop essential workplace skills such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. You will also complete EDUC 510 (Managing Career Exploration) this spring semester, earning 2 units while gaining valuable leadership experience.Available positions include:

Upward Bound Summer Yearbook & Public Relations: Lead the creation of the summer yearbook and promote the program through social media and local media.
Multicultural Programs: Educate and engage students in diversity and inclusion projects.
Murphy Commons Kids Program: Organize and lead programming for children at a local low-income housing complex.
La Vista Verde Kids Program: Coordinate activities for children in an agriculturally-based housing community.

Important Dates:

EDUC 510 Course: Spring 2025 semester, dates TBD
Summer Program: June 8, 2025 - July 15, 2025 (Mon-Thurs, 1:30 - 4:30 pm)
Hourly Rate: $16.50 - $17.00
