Celebrate Black Excellence and Advocacy!

Do you know a student, faculty/staff member, or organization that has gone above and beyond to empower and promote equity within the Black community? Nominate them today Black Unity Brunch Nomination Form to be recognized at our Unity Celebration on 02/27/2025 in the

If selected, they'll be honored for their incredible contributions and dedication to advancing Black excellence at CSU, Chico. Nominations close on 02/10/2025.

Suggested criteria for nomination:

Student Nomination:

· Demonstrates outstanding leadership within the Black community.

· Engaged in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or community service.

· Actively works to amplify and celebrate Black voices.

· Must be at least a sophomore or 2nd-year student.

Faculty/Staff/Advisor Nomination:

· Committed to advancing and uplifting Black voices and experiences.

· Demonstrates their dedication through activism, programming, mentorship, or community engagement.

· Acts as a role model and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Student Organization Nomination:

· Creates a welcoming space for the Black community to grow, connect, and thrive.

· Actively fosters inclusivity, diversity, and the amplification of Black voices.

· Is a recognized club or student organization on campus.
