ISA position for CHLX 157 -deadline to apply is 2-14

Dr. Gabby Medina Falzone is hiring one Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) for the Fall 2025 sections of CHLX 157: Introduction to Latinx Studies.

This position is 6-8 hours/week at $17.86/hr

Main job duties include:

Tutoring for both Dr. Gabby Medina Falzone's and Dr. Paul Lopez's sections of CHLX 157 Introduction to Latinx Studies (in-person in El Centro MLIB 161 and on zoom).
Supporting students Thursdays from 2-3:15pm with in-class activities in Dr. Gabby Medina Falzone's section of CHLX 157 Introduction to Latinx Studies.

Applicants need to have taken CHLX 157 or the equivalent, and be in good academic standing. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Latine students and others from historically oppressed communities are encouraged to apply.
