In honor of National Foster Care Awareness Month, the Foster Care Museum Committee is seeking submissions for the 3rd Annual Foster Care Museum. Submissions that express the unique perspectives and experiences of current and former foster youth are encouraged, such as art, writing or artifacts/items from current or former foster youth. Art and artifacts will be displayed at the Museum of Northern California Art (MONCA) March 20th to May 11th, 2025. Submissions are due by February 28th. This empowering exhibit presents an opportunity to celebrate those who have experienced foster care. It has been a magical event in the past, and we're looking forward to another great year! Art or artifacts can be submitted through the 2025 Foster Care Museum Submission form. Questions can be directed to Coral Olynyk, colynyk@csuchico.edu or 530-898-4579. Please reach out for further information, including art night events being offered for those interested in creating art for the exhibit.
